Join us in River City where there's Trouble with a Capital T! Traveling salesman Harold Hill breezes into town to make a quick buck off of the local rubes by selling them band instruments, books, and uniforms – that don't exist! The salesman finds some trouble of his own when he falls head over heels for the smart and suspicious Marian the Librarian. Will the townspeople ever get their 76 Trombones? Or will they all find something even more valuable?

Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are the darlings of the silent movie era. Then along comes an interesting little picture called "The Jazz Singer" – the age of the "talkie" has arrived! Eager to get on the sound bandwagon, the movie studio quickly moves to remake their latest release into a movie with sound. But the leading lady has a voice that's... well... best suited to silent films. Along with wacky pal Cosmo, Don scrambles with young up-and-comer (and love interest) Kathy to save the movie and their careers. Wonderful songs include Moses Supposes, Good Morning, Make 'Em Laugh, and of course, that unforgettable title song.
