Running to Places is not a pay-to-play company. We've taken down the wall that keeps some kids out -- fees. Participation in R2P does not require families to be able to write a check.

We've calculated that it costs us around $400 per student per show for our season. Ticket sales can never cover that – in fact, the rule for any nonprofit theatre is that tickets sales typically cover no more than half of the budget – which is why we rely on donations, grants, sponsorships and playbill ad sales. You can make an extraordinary difference in making that possible.

Some families can and do donate at a level to cover the cost of their child’s participation. Those who can’t are given multiple opportunities to cover their share in other ways -- through fundraising, by selling ads for programs, providing labor for productions, etc. Even with all this, we rely heavily on the generosity of donors to keep our doors open wide. By making a tax-deductible donation*, you make it possible for everyone to get equal access.
